He is right. I was at the Georgia and Ole Miss games last season and it was silent from the get go. And like SloFlow just said, I was also at the Florida game in 2007 and somebody about seven rows behind me was telling his wife USC lost to Stanford and everybody in the section heard him.

Was it during one of the 100 TV timeouts that CBS takes, because I can understand that. Even I was quiet during the timeouts. It was loud as frick during the game.

Not the loudest I have heard but I was there and can say it was louder than average. Also, I am watching the replay as we speak and yes...FLbeing up by 2 score possessions wasn't helping, but every time we answered, the crowd got old school raucous.
