It just means LSU has very good senior talent. Mel Kiper doesn't include underclassmen in those rankings.

let's break this down like a fraction; a couple of things have to be considered:
1. past performance
lafell had one good year, one bad year, this year will tell the nation for certain who lafell is
2. the opponents
we're playing four top SEC teams this year, SEC=defense, the defense's job is to make the other opponent look bad and crush them, that's their goal.
these, among other things, factor into rankings
ETA: LSU players can up their stock over the season.

we have no excuse for not winning the MNC this year. By default we have to have better qb and def play.....uga is down, om a little overrated, its our turn to beat bama, so we just have to make something special happen against UF

I do not k ow what your problem is but there is nothing wrong with were I am from and futhermore I have never seen the same fanbase talk about one another like this . If u want to find out what kind of a bitch I am u see where I am from just come and check it out and as far as knowing what I am talking about I have been watching football for 26 years and it is my favorite time of year.Maybe u are just a liitle snot nose punk looking to start shite.either way I do not care if u do not like what is written there is better ways to respond!!!

Mel Kiper is a reasonable and logic guy, I like his ratings. some polls are slamming our guy and we are better than that. I appreciate the recognition from Mel Kiper
