Anyone have a complete list of freshman players that have been bumped up to varsity practice??

I will start off with the two I know of...

Claiborne - CB/WR
Faulk - OL

Mingo was pushed back down today.

Hicks
Faulk
Claiborne

I would expect Claiborne to go back to the freshman tomorrow.

I was wondering about Claiborne, I was hoping he did not get lost in the shuffle

Don't be surprised to see him wind up making a nice freshman impact similar to RR. I know, blasphemy... but this kid was WAY underrated coming out of HS and that has made him a very hard worker. That plus the fact that the coaches have moved him to the varsity work out and he came in to camp looking like he added some muscle makes me think he will be hard to keep off the field.

quick question? from the looks of claiborne's size and the wr we have and have coming in and taylor possibly playing safety do you think his best chance at seeing the field would be at cb?

just watching his films he looks like he is way too athletic to keep off the field

Good for Morris. I said from the beginning that this kid is legit D1. Playing at Fair Park hurt his status, IMO. He's a great athlete and a good kid.

Fine. He was at neither practice today. When I made that post it was before any of the afternoon reports were out, so it appeared Mingo had been pushed back.

I agree but those players are being looked at to get on the field early.

I hope Claiborne tackles better than the other ATH we got from Fair Park.

Jhyryn Taylor was with the Vet receivers for the second straight day. He looks damn good

Russel Shepard seemed to throw much better with pads and Garrett wasnt as good today

Jhryn is a redshirt freshman. It's not surprising he's with the vets.
