I will be in Chicago next week for work. My wife is going with me. We are staying downtown by Navy Pier. Does anyone have any good restaurant recommendations? Thanks!

Chicago recommendations?
There are a ton of places. What a great city. I am sure you will get a lot of great info form posters here.
The wife and I always enjoy Pizzeria UNO for a quick meal.
Also - The Ralph Lauren Polo restaurant is great. It caught us by surprise but I would highly reccomend it.

Pizzaria Uno (sp)- some pretty great deep dish pizza.
Went to Chicago a few years ago for the Saint's NFC Championship game. Trip was great but the game sucked.
Lots of sights in Chicago.

I ate at Quartino on N State when I was last in Chicago. Awesome Italian food, some of the best gnocchi I"ve ever had

The best meal my husband and I ever had was at Spiaggia! It is right across from the Drake hotel and there are two sides to the restaurant. We went to Spiaggia Cafe, which doesn't seem like a cafe at all. We chose that one because we liked what was offered on the menu better. The best gnocchi we have ever had. Everything we ordered was so damn good, we ate there three nights in a row. That should tell you something.
I also agree with the other suggestions on here. Pizzeria Uno has been my favorite in Chicago.

Spiaggia!
I second that. The second best meal I have had in Chicago. Behind David Burke's "Prime." The best steakhouse in America, by far.

I'm not big on the Chicago style deep dish...don't like the crust...but it's a must to try it and if I had to recommend one it would be Gino's East for me.
I liked the Chop House for Steak, less exensive at lunch.
Italian Village, top floor...good Italian food.
And for Breakfast West Egg which is just a couple of blocks of Michigan on Ohio I think.

Frontera Grill.
The original Morton's is in Chicago... my family usually goes there whenever we are in Chicago.
