Shep and it's not even close.

I think Shep is better but "not even close", I don't know about that one

i'll say Shepard but Seatruck will be very good due to his slashing ability and his vision. I love Shepards mindset an his williness to better himself as a student of the game.

Its hard to imagine Sheps basement being below Pat White early in his career. And even that is pretty good. His ceiling? He could be better than Mike Vick was. With different strengths and weaknesses of course.
A speedback like Seastruck could easily bottom out on the bench of a top tier program. (Or even a below top tier program like Auburn.) See: Jerald Watson.

SEASTRUNK will be one of those players who was very highly recruited, but fizzles out and never lives up to the hype. I don't trust his ability to run between the tackles.

RB's are tough, but explosive WR's seem to always find their way into the draft.

your way off base about him fizzling out. he has unique ability that has college coaches drolling to gain his services. injury is a concern, but the talent is there.

his basement is way lower than that. White was a freshman all american as a fr and big east offensive player of the year as a soph. that's nobody's basement.

Running backs = dime a dozen
Shep is much, much more important. Then throw in that Seastrunk is going to drag it out while Shep committed early and started pulling in other top talent for LSU. Shep>>>>>>>>>>>Lache

The hit/miss ratio for 5* is around 50:50. I just don't see Seastrunk being that every-down explosive back. He'll probably fall into a role similar to that of Keilland Williams.

Shep was a better passer in HS than Pat White and is a better athlete.
Pat White's freshman passing stats:
828yrds 57.0comp% 7.26yrds/per 8TDs 5INTs
Given what Miles himself has already told us about Shep's intelligence as a QB, do you really think Shep can't manage at least that as a fourth year player at LSU, with LSU's surrounding talent?

shep
i think seastrunk is faster, but he's a LOT more straightline. shep is fluid and really fast
the difference in speed is pretty negligible, but shep is more elusive

this won't be a problem when we become mostly a spread option team
