There is never an excuse for a restaurant to serve tilapia, but just don't order it. Harrington's is a solid lunch spot.

I have a personal ban on all restaurants that serve that crap fish. It makes me question their food quality and control.

People like tilapia. Get over it.

I like the way you think, but you will miss out on some good places with this band.

I think any high end restaurant serving tilapia (LL) is inexcusable and should be included in your ban...but a little lunch spot could be excused from this behavior.

If you love LA then you should hate tilapia.

My tastes are not very refined, but I enjoy some Paul Wong's every now and then. Usually get the green beans and blackened shrimp n chicken. Sometimes the citrus chicken can be ok, if he uses a batter that day.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but about 10-15 years ago Tilapia was served in more high end restaurants. Was it not?

I seem to remember hearing a lot of specials back in the day with Tilapia. Way before it was a household name.
