I'm sure these will be as entertaining as the XFL was.

Probably moreso. They aren't bastardizing the standard NFL rules and making it gimmicky. They have solid coaches and good people behind the league. I think it will do well. I'm going to watch. XFL was doomed to the start because of its association with the 'wrastlin' world.

this league will work. I have been in contact with 3 former LSU players and they are planning on playing in this league.

I think it's doomed already because of the economy, but I think the brand will be way better than the XFL. I'll probably give it a shot, but most people don't have the attention span for 2nd hand leagues of any sport anymore.

I think having a developmental league for players who aren't going to get playing time in the NFL is a good idea and I hope the UFL works. I'm not sure who is going to watch the games on Thursday nights with a CFB game as direct competition. Should be an interesting first year at least.

this is key. They should do this shite about a month after football season(like the XFL tried to) just when we start missing football again. They really don't need any competition though.

Got screwed by Jauron, actually. Did well under the old staff in the other system, but never fit in with Jauron and his system. Plus, Jauron wanted to bring his own guy in.

The UFL will be fine. It's run by an former NFL exec with a gentlemen's deal that the NFL "supports" it as a developmental league.
