Not talking Mingo and TG....sorry TG, just trying to clarify.

I can't recall, but I'm sure there have been a few in recent years.

Thanks

yeah, I would def consider that a package deal the way it ended up, but maybe not if Bowden had not been fired.

I have been thinking about this for awhile and The Egg has the best answer that comes to mind.

MNW sent 7 guys to Miami in one year if I remember correctly. That is absolutely absurd--yet all the guys deserved offers.

Crazy how much talent that school puts out.

You have instances where guys from the same school will go to the same college, but rarely if ever does it happen that they were a package deal. Kirkpatrick and Kelly were an example of this, as well as, Dye and Ray Ray.

I disagree. I think Kirkpatrick and Kelly were more like your 1st example. They just committed on the same day. I don't think they were "packaged" together. If Kelly would've chosen....say LSU, Kirkpatrick was still going to Bama. Likewise, if Kirkpatrick would've chosen Texas, Kelly wouldn't have. One of the cooler package deals I can remember were Trev Faulk and Bradie James when they committed together. Even though they were from different schools, they went through the process together and committed together vowing to attend the same school. We were the lucky ones.

ETA: My bad Lynx! You were saying what I just said and i misinterpreted it. Reading comprehension isn't my strong suit and 7am.
