Last night's Intervention

Just watched it on the DVR.Geez...that had to be the most depressing one ever. Basically the dude was an alcoholic with two kids. I guess one was in her teens and the other was around 10.
Ex wife was a MILF too.
Anyway getting him to do the treatment was incredibly hard and tough on the kids. He finally agrees and goes....gets 80 days sober and finds out he has esophagus cancer. Then three weeks later....BOOM he's dead.

That was the shittiest one yet. They had another guy who died after the Intervention, but he was a complete idiot. He never got sober, and ignored a treatable form of cancer.
If he didn't hop back on the wagon he is/was a better man than me. I would have taken my kids on a trip brought them home and quietly went somewhere to go Leaving Las Vegas. Just shitty all the way around.

yeah, this episode was tough to watch. my favorite part of the show is watching the people use, but watching this guy use was just watching him piss away his family. it was really sad.

My favorites are the babes, either in love with an addicted douchebag, or addicted themselves (but not to the point of being ugly). The one about the cutter from Texas and the one about the dude in the band from Florida (who hides in the sewer pipe) stand out.

The toughest one for me to watch was the one with the anorexic with the feeding tube. It was put in as an emergency stop-gap measure to keep her alive...15 years ago. She would chew food, and spit it out. I was watching while eating two microwave burritos. I almost had to stop eating.

Reminded me of when Tony Brown met that fat chick in the quad, he goes on a date with her and her fat friend on Bourbon and then BOOM she asks him if she can go out with Tyler instead.
