Running on HBO, watched all but first 20 minutes today...
Shia should stick to roles where he doesn't have to act imo....

I watched it the other night after avoiding it in the theaters and on Netflix. I was suprised at how not terrible it was. I'm not claiming it is a great movie, but it was good enough to keep me entertained.

The plot is ludicrous, but it's a pretty slick action-thriller. It is well shot and the acting is solid across the board. It has also has great energy that keeps it going throughout. Kinda reminded me of Transformers 2 in that it moves so fast that it tries to keep you from thinking about how ridiculous it all is. I'd give it a 6/10.

i havent seen transformers 2, but i find it hard to believe that anything could be worse. its a completely unrealistic movie, and it makes it hard to even focus on enjoying the movie

Crappy plot. Same concept as Terminator and 2001: A Space Odyssey but vastly inferior execution. Ending was awful. The kind of movie that holds your attention but once you go back over it after the movie you laugh at the absurdity.

agree 100%. My dad was watching it for the first time last night and kept asking me all these questions about the plot. I told him not to waste his time.

I agree with this. I really thought they could have done way more with the plot, anything would have been better than a computer
i compared it to stealth although i've never seen it, but i'm sure it was the same plot based off the previews.
