Given the level of talent and ability when he was in college, I'd substitute John Williams for Bass. OH, and I'd have Trent coaching.

i think with randolph we have a better shot against UNC in the second round... we win that game and the rest of the road was a good bit easier... not easy but easier than UNC, so yes i think adding him did give them a legitimate shot.

Why does he have to be joking? Randolph starting instead of Chris Johnson = big upgrade.

No, not kidding. W/ Randolph we're a better team. Better regular season record. Better seed. Don't have to play UNC in the 2nd round. Not saying we'd win but have a better shot.

Also, Randolph has potential to be the 4th best NBA Tiger ever, which is pretty crazy.

im happy for him, but he was a bitch and the cancer of the team that year. i hope he sharts on the free throw line one game due to extreme karma.

Was he really a cancer? I could be wrong, but I don't recall reading or hearing much about it. To me, he was the reason we were somewhat competitive. Had Tas and CJ never been hurt, I think we'd have been a tournament team.

Well damn, I was hoping not to hear that. His college career reminds me of Chris Bosh. Plays on a college team that sucks, leaves after one year, the next season, said team is infintely better.

Which wouldn't surprise me. He was just a one and done guy. He already had one foot out the door when he got on campus.

I know the point you are making, but Maclin should start at the 3 for this and personally I would put Bob Petit at the 4.

LSU would have likely been a serious contender with AR last year. Most players improve the most between their frosh and soph seasons. It's no secret he would have been the most talented player on the team last year and no telling what Johnson could have done with him.

I don't know about National Championship contender, but I do think would have been a much better team and a Final 4 wouldn't have surprised me.
