Got this same text in an email last night and the text was signed by Brig Gen Chuck Yeager with an email address.
Now I am wondering about the authenticity of the whole thing.

eta: I did see thing snopes thread on it.

I don't know if anyone knew this but Eugene Roe, the cajun medic that the entire Battle of the Bulge episode is filmed around, lived and ran a construction company here in Baton Rouge until he died of cancer in 1998.

When I found this out after I saw BOB for the first time it just really hit me how this true American Hero lived here among us and we would have never known it if not for BOB.
