someone on here who claimed to be close to the situation said that he was cut.

oh, i always thought he was well hyped by manieri? I guess it was due to hawthorne's sidekick on the radio that continued to jerk him off.

he got hurt and passed up on the depth chart

He has alot of potential. Just had dead arm after his high school coach threw him to much. Causing later for his arm to blow out. He will be good there

I doubt if these decisions are made unilaterally by the kids. I suspect they were made following evaluation meetings with the LSU coaches. I would have liked to see Zeigler stick around but all involved probably felt this move was in his best interest.

If that's true then he and your post have something in common.

and everyone that comes from his high school will be too, they throw the arms off of anyone with talent over there (Sacred Heart in Ville Platte). He actually may have been alright if his HS coaches didn't completely use him up. But the problems in Ville Platte start in Dixie Youth, baseball problems I mean.

It said he wanted to rehab his surgically repaired elbow closer to home.

Enfuego, do you know Ardoin? I've known he and his family all my life, far from garbage as a ball player and a person. Where you offered a scholarship to pitch at LSU? Get a life punk!

ville platte does have 3 or 4 10 yr olds throwing curve balls this year.

I guess you passed up a college baseball career to head straight for the pros
I talked to Ardoin about a month ago and he said his arm is back and he should be good to go for fall ball in Monroe.
Like the above posts, he is a great kid and ran into arm problems. He would have done well at LSU if he had not had these problems.

At least now I know that next time I'm at the Pig Stand to keep my voice low if I have anything to say about Shane Ardoin.
