Anyone Surprised at How Devery Has come Around?

I was listening to Brees on WWl and he was mentioning how impressed he has been with Devery and that Devery has been running as the #1 guy in drills and was performing excellent. He claims he can not only go deep now but is perfecting his route running and catching the ballll extremely well, here is to a great year for devery

offseason and practice is the Devery showcase. I wanted to strangle him a couple of times last season before he got benched

Devery only had 2 drops in 57 targets last season.

I think Henderson did better after 2 years as a second rounder than Meachum did after 2 years as a first rounder.

No it's not. I specifically remember ONE drop he had last season (an important 3rd down conversion play), and that was it. He played well last season with two well rounded WRs around him, allowing him to focus on stretching the field.

Devery is a legit #3, probably even a #2 for some teams and the only real deep threat in the WR corp (that isn't a return specialist).
