Have they ever really bombed one? Maybe you can make the case Cars wasn't that great but in general they don't screw it up.
Toy Story is a top 5 movie all time IMO.

really? I like it..gave me an 'objective' to shoot for the towns/places they incorporated into the movie such as shamrock, tx and the wigwam motel in AZ on our road trip this summer.

Larry the Cable Guy is enough to ruin any movie

the only thing Cars is good for is a demo
great colors, and ok sound
as a movie?

Cars is a solid movie, but nothing special. Everything else Pixar has done has been outstanding. Wall-E is the greatest animated movie of my lifetime.

The problem with CARS is that it is an old story...remember DOC HOLLYWOOD? Same story. Of coarse CARS was a beautiful presentation of that story.
Pixar's track record speaks for itself...all hits and no misses.

Pretty much every movie they have done besides Cars and A Bug's Life got amazing reviews. Even those two films got decent reviews though.
Also, take a look at the box office numbers for Pixar. They have been so successful up to this point. They have never had a critical or box office disappointment yet, which is incredibly difficult for how long they have been making films. Keep in mind that any film that doubles its budget in global ticket sales is a guaranteed financial success.
Toy Story (1995): Budget was 30 million, Worldwide gross was 362 million.
A Bug's Life (1998): Budget was 45 million, Worldwide gross was 364 million.
Toy Story 2 (1999): Budget was 90 million, Worldwide gross was 485 million.
Monster's Inc (2001): Budget was 115 million, Worldwide gross was 529 million.
Finding Nemo (2003): Budget was 94 million, Worldwide gross was 866 million.
The Incredibles (2004): Budget was 92 million, Worldwide gross was 635 million.
Cars (2006): Budget was 120 million, Worldwide gross was 462 million.
Ratatouille (2007): Budget was 150 million, Worldwide gross was 624 million.
Wall-E (2008): Budget was 180 million, Worldwide gross was 533 million.
Up (2009): Budget was 175 million, Worldwide gross is 289 million. Keep in mind it's only been in theaters were a little over a month though, and the foreign gross will probably approach the American gross by the end of the year. So far it has made 250 million in the US and 39 million overseas. I'm guessing that will make at least 500 million by the end of its theatrical release. It's currently ahead of the pace set by Wall-E.
By the way, when I was looking up the numbers for UP, I came across this story on Wikipedia, which was originally on CBS. It's pretty touching.

In June 2009, a 10-year-old girl from Huntington Beach, California was suffering from the final stages of terminal vascular cancer. It is reported her dying wish was to "live to see the movie" despite the advanced stage of her disease. However, due to her deteriorating condition, the girl was unable to leave the family home. As a result, a family friend contacted Pixar and arranged for a private screening. A Pixar employee flew to the Huntington Beach home with various Up tie-in toys and a DVD copy of the film. The child could not open her eyes due to the pain caused from the cancer, so her mother described the film to her scene by scene. The young girl died approximately seven hours after the screening ended.

I couldn't even finish it. I'd rather watch TMNT in Spanish than watch Wall-E.

I'm a big kid at heart so I've always enjoyed Disney and Pixar movies, but I can honestly say Wall-E was one of the worst movies I've seen in a while

WALL-E had some awesome graphics...but NO WORDS! And what was up with the fat people in chairs that never got up? Are they saying that's what we will be like in the future?
It was alright. I'd put it near the bottom, though.
