They are in Louisiana helping at a football camp. The reporter talking with them asked what they thought was the main reason for the success of the football program and the huge increase in pro players coming out of Baton Rouge. They both agreed that Nick Saban and the changes he help bring about in facilities, talent and attitude was the thing that brought on the rise. They said that the changes he made and the success that he created, made the best high school players want to come to LSU. But Ryan did say that most LSU fans didn't want to hear that. Give credit where credit is due.

He said it for his NBC intro last year, which is recorded once and replayed for each time a player's team was on NBC. But, multiple rantards believed that he was delivering the same line for each broadcast....f'ing dolts.

I noticed that when it didn't happen. Is there a message that most LSU fans are missing about the respect the players had for their coach and the ignorance of some rantards? The MAN deserves respect! Love him or hate him, we aren't where we are today without him. Get over your pity party and respect what he did for our university. Thank you coach Saban for what you did. Now it is on! Geaux Les and the Tigers!

I'll agree that Coach Saban was an A hole. But come on, wake up, his contribution to the success of LSU football was immeasurable. You diehards, never change idiots, and old days thinkers give the man his dues. Support Coach Miles but remember without coach Saban there is no successful Coach Miles. The man was God sent for LSU and he moved on. Take comfort in the fact that we are more successful now than we were when Coach Saban was here. We shouldn't hate and boo the guy for making what he thought were better career moves. How many of you diehards would honestly turn down a move that you honestly believe would better you and your family.

I have met and spoken to Coach Miles on a few occasions and I know Coach Saban would never had been that assessible.

Two different personalities, so tiger fans let's show class and respect what the man has done. His former player certainly do.

Point me in the direction of the people who don't respect what Saban did for LSU, please. They are not in this thread. And I have never actually met one, personally. Where are these folks who you've aimed your self-righteous indignation towards? 'Cause I don't see them.

I agree, Saban deserves a lot of credit, just not ALL of it. Many of the changes in facilities were planned/under way before Saban was hired.

Seriously? If you ask these guys a question like that When they only played Under Gerry DiNardo and Nick Saban what the hell you expect them to say? "When I was there Sabin sucked and the program is great do to Les."

Look plans for upgrades started under Gerry and he was the one to get the ball rolling in getting the program back on track. When his head got too big the team slipped and he was replaced.

Nick came in and the facilities got finish and he locked down the states boarders and made us better.

Les comes in and picks up the program where it left off and lifts it up a notch. (I seriously believe if Katrina would not have hit LSU would have 2 NC titles under Les) He left the boards closed and even picked up some solid out of state guys.

All 3 have done there part, but I can still hate Little Nicky.
