Carl obviously you can't read! Eloquent Hell.
What you people ( and I'm not going to call you names) don't take into account when comparing JJ with JL in games against Ole Miss and Arky is the experience that JL had(almost a whole season, either as a starter or a person that had sifnificant playing time. During most of the season JJ did not get hardly any reps. and it's though to get your rhythm without reps. If you want to be fair( and I doubt that you do) compare stats after JJ has started 8 games.
As much as I'm sure you truly believe that on the field coaching would have helped JL, a lack of coaching was not the problem with JL. Some people have it a JL just doesn't have it.
Obvouisly you don't read this rant.

The kid is a QB and will play QB at LSU. I don't no why some of you think that the QB position is divine and only people that meet your criteria can play that position. I'm sure Coach Miles realizes what a gem he has and is not going to jeopardize future QB recruits.
Those two guys are not Tom Brady and will neve be confused as so!!
To LSU Fan Rayne. That is more of a conservative agenda than a liberals. Igorance(meaning lack of knowledge)

I'll agree that Coach Saban was an A hole. But come on, wake up, his contribution to the success of LSU football was immeasurable. You diehards, never change idiots, and old days thinkers give the man his dues. Support Coach Miles but remember without coach Saban there is no successful Coach Miles. The man was God sent for LSU and he moved on. Take comfort in the fact that we are more successful now than we were when Coach Saban was here. We shouldn't hate and boo the guy for making what he thought were better career moves. How many of you diehards would honestly turn down a move that you honestly believe would better you and your family.

I have met and spoken to Coach Miles on a few occasions and I know Coach Saban would never had been that assessible.

Two different personalities, so tiger fans let's show class and respect what the man has done. His former player certainly do.

What an idiotic statement!!!!
I think a lot of LSU fans(most never attended let alone graduated, don't want to see a Black QB at LSU be successful. Instead they over hype much less talented white QBs(MF and the other QB when we won the NC, even those they were the beneficaries of great overall team talent that compensated for those two guys shortcomings.

Its that old southern stereotype that a Black QB isn't smart enough to play QB at a major university. In 2000 it whould seem that those vistages of racism would have faded a little bit. Omigosh I used that dreaded word "racism".
By the way I got my taste of it at LSU first hand, attending LSU 1976-71.

Of course LSU would have won the NC if JR had been QB. They probably would not have backed into it.
