Wow. Beautiful. I'd probably try to just play that hole over and over again.
Well, there's always the chance that you'll have to play multiple balls on that one hole!

Jersey,
A friend of mine went to a restaurant on the water... and got a boil type bucket of seafood goodness (and I think a mallet to break it all but I might be wrong). I just remember the bib... any idea what I am talking about?

JT, how far by foot is the pan pacific hotel from most of the downtown attractions, like the market, etc... it has great reviews but is on the outskirts of downtown from what I can tell. I read something about a streetcar type trolley that can take you places by there.
it's the best bang for the buck right now for the combo flight/hotel packages... just seeing if you had anymore info since it wasn't on your list.
Thanks.

Staying in Seattle (Fairmont Olympic). What's the best way to get to Husky Stadium on gameday (no rental car)?

It is farther, but everything is relative. You're never going to be talking about walking much more than a mile in one direction.

I really don't have the answer to that. I assume LSU fans will have some buses running. You could always take a cab. And I think there are some LSU cruises in the works also (sailgating).

JT, have you played Chambers Bay? I just played the Olympic course on Gold Mountain and heard Chambers was better, but more expensive.

Yeah, I played it last summer. See earlier comments in this thread.

My bad. Couldn't read all that at work.

Hey Jersey thanks for the great info. Would you recommend renting a car? Staying from Friday to Monday downtown and can walk to most attractions but the stadaium is not close of course. Is the mass transit system in Seattle easy to use and reliable?
Thanks in advance for any help!

j, i would like to see snow. mount si, rainier, somewhere in olympic? i'm just trying to find something that won't take all day, won't require mountain climbing skills and won't be outrageously expensive. that sounds like a alot but with several tall mountain ranges within driving distance, i figure it won't be too hard

It depends on what you want to do. Getting to the game without a car probably won't be great fun, but it's also probably really not that hard.

see it as in walk on it or see it as in just see it in the distance?
