LawDawg, do you think Burgermaster is worthy of inclusion on the burger list?

Seattle is awesome! I love it there. You are always within walking distance of a coffee shop.

Flights right now are cheap to Seattle.

Sticky this guide, Chicken! It's just going to get bigger and more comprehensive at we approach Labor Day.

I agree, but I think the powers that be like the additional threads and post counts that come with people logging on and asking the same Seattle questions every three days.

I would have like for someone to sticky a thread about N.O. for the Ohio St. fans when LSU played them down there for the national championship, but it never happened.

This JT guide is money. Good stuff.

Burgermaster is NOT worthy. It's ok. It's not Red Mill.

I've never been to BM, but I was underwhelmed by Red Mill. Lunchbox lab was pretty good, but also pretty expensive.

Great guide, Jersey Tiger.

Only one problem -- pickleball is most certainly in Baton Rouge.

Generations of Catholic High School students played during PE.

Are you serious?

ETA: My CHS source says "no way, never".

Yeah... never thought of Seattle as the pickleball mecca. Where the hell do you play that around here anyway? Only thing we speak of is beershoes.

I've played in people's private courts as well as at healthclubs.

It was invented on Bainbridge Island.

I am pissed right now that the flight situation is not any cheaper.
Money is tight and we just booked a trip to Disney for the family this fall. I was def. not going to do Seattle, but it is getting more tempting by the day. I even I have family that has a place for me to stay up there.
I can't find a descent flight for under $365 after fees and such.

Wife and I are flying up on Tuesday. Is the Cascade Loop worth the drive? We have no plans until Thursday(staying at Hyatt-Bellevue). Any other ideas on how to spend Tues and Wed. Great work so far. Thanks.

We like to take road trips with no set schedule, just sight see and take it like it comes. Not into cities so much. Love mountains, wildlife, small towns with cool local bars, rest. etc. (We are in our 50s and never grew up).

nice list there JT...i chuckled at the mention of crater lake...thats a solid 8-9 hour drive each way but like you said, you'll never see anything like it...and man is it beautiful.

the movie tour is a great idea...seems like there is something similar but its a rock star tour that takes you to different houses...cobain, grohl, etc.

my favorite things were all beer related...pyramid was fun as was redhook...and there is a microbrewery in the pike place mall...pike brewery..they had some good stuff. i have a problem..i know.

I'd suggest driving north a ways and then cutting east through North Cascades National Park. Keep going east and you can go through Winthrop and then the Omak indian reservation. Turn south and stop at the Grand Coulee Dam and then go through Leavenworth on your way back.

Or you could do the Olympics loop.

Or drive down to the Lewis and Clark trail down on the Oregon border.

I'm playing on Friday and I know they still have some tee times open on that day (mine is in the morning around 9:30).
