Brando has picked Ole Miss to finish #3 behind Oklahoma and Florida. He thinks the only game they will lose will be to Florida in the SEC championship game. Thoughts?

Bingo Bango picked Bama #3 in the country in 2000 after they won the West in '99.

He's like most national pundints in that he has a superficial surface knowledge of many teams, but an in-depth knowledge of none.

But because he was a sports anchor here 20 plus years ago he feigns an in depth knowledge of LSU with a helping of national media arrogance that undermines his credibility.

And if he picked LSU to win the NC, he would be a legendary prognosticator...

Brando is the Nostradamus of SEC football. Question him and bet against his picks at your own peril.

He took Finebaum's call from the 19th hole of Southern Trace.

Until Ole Miss is consistent in winning I'm not buying into the hype especially after a 8-4 season, its not like they are coming off a 10 win season...for the first time in a very long time they are going to be playing with a target on their backs coming into a season let's see how they react/play week after week with that target especially against Florida, LSU and Bama, they had a nice season last year but to be a non let down season they are going to have to have 9+ wins after last seasons performance...

Also don't forget that Houston Nutt teams never perform up to expectations. They always slip through when they are predicted to have a down year and teams overlook them. It will be no different at Ole Piss.

I don't know why everyone is putting off Ole Miss. I'm not saying they are going to win a NC but they are going to be a very solid team and give LSU a run for their money. I would not take them very lightly.

I mean, is it really that crazy of a prediction? They return easily the second best QB in the SEC and a very solid defense.

They have a ridiculously easy schedule considering how tough the SEC is, and they are coming off of a great year.

Most of you guys were slurping Nutt's nuts after Ar-kansas beat LSU in 07 and probably would have loved to have him had Miles gone to Michigan.

They are coming off a great season in which they beat the national champs on the road and shite stomped us, and yet most of you idiots think the absolute worst case scenario for LSU next year is 10-2, but OM will fall on their faces.

Jesus Christ you guys aren't even funny anymore.

OM is the sexy pick. They do not play UF this year and have Bama, Tenn, and LSU at home. They will be the favorite in many of their games.

Don't think so. I would love to have had McFadden on the LSU team, but have never had any interest in having Nutt. He is an ok coach, and certainly was a step up for Ole Miss from O, but Nutt has never been on my list of coaches I would like to see at LSU.
