I'd give it to either DJ's double in game one or Mahtook's double last night.

DJ's hit by a mile. The other hits don't happen if DJ gets out. In fact, we probably don't even play last night as Texas would have swept us.

Easily DJ's hit in the 9th inning of the first game.

technically, Mahtook's hit in game 1 was the biggest clutch hit of the series

Keyes getting hit in the foot or Wood getting hit in the leg.

END OF THREAD! BOT 9, 2 outs and we were DOWN at the time.

Maybe the 2nd biggest clutch hit in LSU Baseball history BEHIND Warren Morris.

The game would have been over before Mahtook bats if DJ gets out.

Pretty sure Mikie doesn't get a shot without DJ's hit

I only added Mahtook's double last night because he wasn't having that great of a series up to that point. A few decent AB's, but nothing like the way DJ was hitting.

Mahtook's hit was in a tie game.

DJ's was with 2 out and down 2.

There is NO debate about this.

Texas dominated Game 2. LSU dominated Game 3. The "rubber" game of the series was Game 1, and DJ's double was the biggest hit of the game. If he makes an out, we lose. If he doubles, we are now a coin flip to win. Mikie's hit was great, but if he doesn't, we go back to a coin flip to win.

Not comparing, however the 3 run first inning HR last night sure was nice.

That one did lift a lot of weight and stress.
