He's legit. Just not as dominating as Jungmann and Ruffin....SUPPOSEDLY. I'm expecting this cat to be on top of his game as everyone on UT's team has, so far, to this point. We need to get to him early.

USM should have beat UT.

His Big 12 stats are less impressive.

I think we can take him, but then again stats don't mean dick in a game like this.

19 starts but only 8 decisions, 5 of which are wins? Sounds like we'll get into that bullpen again tonight.

Seems to walk a lot of people in those last few games. Hope the ump isn't mr. generosity again on the corner like the one last night.

Maybe I'm wrong about the walks. hard to tell which numbers were matching up where in those box scores.

Seen him pitch 3 times and he showed about what his stats imply. Good college pitcher with average stuff. Averages less than 6 innings per start and has been knocked out earlier than the 5th inning several times this year. If he pitched in the Box instead of that cavern in TX his e.r.a. would probably be at least a run higher. The Tigers need to lay off his low and away junk. His pitches in the zone are very hittable. I'd say he has better stuff than Ross but not better than Bradshaw or Ott. No where near Coleman or Ranaudo. If AR throws his average game the Tigers should be fine.

But if he starts to get hit they will probably bring in that big Workman dude who throws mid 90s.

The workman kid threw in the 90's for one inning then dropped to 88 89 90 range the second. He doesn't have the endurance for his fastball to last.

Odds of an LSU fan makin an impromptu sign on the back of a nachos box tonight that says "Workman is about to get Worked, Man"? Im saying pretty high.

That would mean LSU was into their pen early enough to where I won't care about said fan doing that.

Not to sound completely arrogant, but I'm more concerned with the type of game Ranaudo brings.

If he holds his end down, we will win going away.

If we get 2-3 on him, he'll be taken out. I don't think Augie will allow a pitcer to give up more than 2 runs. He'll throw every arm he has tonight-or whenever the game will be played (except Jungmann of course).

Agreed, knowing Garrido. I wouldn't even be surprised to see Ruffin out there for an inning or so.
