Announcers are Pro LSU
Think about it
Ventura- Played at Okie State, then for Chicago White Sox, now more famous as fighting Nolan Ryan (who played for Rangers) than his MLB career. Obvious hate for Texas in that, so obvious why he is rooting for LSU, no one from who played for Okie State could root for UT.
Orel Hershiser- Was pitching coach and a PR position from Texas Rangers. Think there is a little more to it and maybe he was fired but resigned instead. Obviously if he was fired instead of it being 100% his choice he is going to despise Texas and maybe his resentment is against UT also.

Check out the ties. One announcer has a purple tie, the other has a gold. Last night they all wore purple shirts. This isnt a coincidence.
