My "inside" guy who used to work for Scout heard from a fairly reliable source Lache committed to Auburn. He's almost always right but he says he's not going to 100% this like he did when he told me Justin Hunter was all ours (posted that on here).

He can commit but still a long way from signing.

I agree. Long way from NSD. He also said Lache and Dyer are committing together to Auburn...which mean Reed might be soon to follow.

How ruined though would Auburn fans be if all 3 decommited (Dyer to Ark, Reed and Seastrunk to LSU) after they see how bad Auburn is this year?

chizik meltdown would be what i think would be necessary

no matter how shitty AU is, the coaches will throw tubby's guys under the bus and say they're shitty and the prime time recruits will just get more immediate PT. book it

We will have a winning record and go to a bowl game this year. An improvement from last year and moving in the right direction with a new staff.

Book it.

7-6 is still shitty

AU has dick at QB and WR and they're going to try a deep passing spread. let's also add in the lack of a pass-blocking OL

ole miss, LSU, and Bama are all more talented. Arky with Mallett + improvement off their positive arc last year could very well be better.

who are your opponents from the east?

Lache is graduating in December and enrolling in whichever college in Jan.

If he commits to AU, I'm confident it will be a solid commit

Seems unlikely they'd commit this early given that the prolly won't know the new OC for AU next year. Will be fun playing against them though.

Just keep in mind that most of these kids are going to watch another football season before signing anything. Let LSU's team speak for itself.

I'd love to have him at LSU, but if he doesn't he should go to Texas. They have a wayyyy better OL group, and Auburn is far behind. He'll regret it if he goes to Auburn.

yup, no idea why people have been so confident Lache was still coming here.

hes actively recruited AGAINST LSU with Lattimore. and the idea that a bad season will change his mind is off base as well. recruits gave us a pass for last year mentioning the young QB play, same will happen for Auburn with new coaches.
