What did he say about having kids all over the field who are not used to playing? He isn't trying to say they need another days rest is he?

He said "Whatever."

I'm not sure what he meant, but Paul was less than impressed. Usually Paul is trying to all but make out with the other coach in pregame and in this case, I sensed some arctic chill.

you could tell that was a very "cold" conversation

what's the deal with these two ? Sounds like their 'relationship' goes back aways.

I didn't see this. Could someone give a better description of what went down?

Paul mumbled something and Vanhorn said "Yeah well whatever." I laughed.

Van Horn is a DOUCHE... He has in the past, been a complete dick to PM.. Van Horn only did that, because the cameras were rolling....

But, as you see, PM doesn't play games.. He's the same guy all the time...

One more reason, why he is the right man for the job!!!!

I think the last three seasons have had "moments". There were definitely some tense moments this past May up in Fayettenam.

Van Horn is a cocky bastard. PM is not. Clash is inevitable.

Mainieri looked like more of a dick than Van Horn there, but I'm sure there's a back story to it. Van Horn is just a better bullshitter. I respect that.

I noticed that too. That is so out of character for PM. VanHorn must really be a POS.

Van Horn said "I got kids all over this field in positions they are not used to playing" and it sounded like Paul said "Yeah I haven't been on this field in 3 days." and Van Horn said "Yeah so whatever."

not warm at all.

It reminded me very much of a situation when you do not like someone and that someone tries to make you laugh with some sorry arse humor and you kind of have to grit your teeth and force a semi-pleasant reaction.

Kind of like if Kige and I had to exchange words for a few minutes.

It was something like
Vanhorn: My guys were getting ready to take batting practice and it started raining
PM: oh
Vanhorn: I got some guys who need to take infield who haven't been out there that much this year.
PM: Pause, looks away
Van Horn: I'm serious.

Looked like PM was thinking "Crap, with all the rain, we won't be able to give the the hard, dry screw we planned. Now, they will be a little moist, which well make their losing just a little more pleasant for them, and that pisses me off!!!"

May have something to do with T.J. Forrest.

There is no mention of Forrest having played a year at LSU in the Arkansas media guide, or the post season guide.

It goes from high school to Bossier CC with no stats.
