Honorable Mentions

Hey Afreaux, something we can agree on. Glory forgot to mention that one. I love the music when they storm the fort at the end. Watch it all the time in Youtube.

I also neglected to mention Clint Mansell and his Requiem for a Dream score. That was badass.

I loved the early trailers for LOTR with the Requiem score.

Jurassic Park
Back to the Future (at the time, the largest orchestra assembled for a movie)
Pirates of the Carribbean

I agree with Ennio Morricone- The Ecstasy of Gold is my favorite piece by him.

I love the big summer movie scores.

He takes the cake, even better than Williams.
Morricone also did The Thing, which was pitch perfect.

Probably best overall soundtrack.

And Superman is probably his best work, maybe the best ever. Awesome score, maybe my favorite overall.

For my money my favorite would have to probably be Conan. From the get go with Anvil of Crom, Basil nailed the core for the movie right out the freaking park.
