Before i start this thread, I just want to thank all of you that suggested omaha restaurants to me on a previous thread. As I said on the other "Omaha Restaurants" thread, my dad and I are promoting Bruce Foods throughout the area. These restaurants now have "Louisiana Hot Sauce", "Louisiana Gold" red and green hot sauces, and Bruce Foods' two new wing sauces. We would love it if you guys went to these restaurants and asked for your favorite hot sauces by name (and that doesn't mean tobasco )
Here are the restaurants:
Stokes grill & bar, Upstream Brewing Company, Starsky's (right across the street from the 'blatt), Jams, Billy Frogg's (all 3 locations), Heidlberg's, Arena Sports, DJ's Dugout (both of the locations), Ice House, Clancy's (2 locations), Village inn cafe, Lum's Diner, The Stadium club, Spaghetti Works

I would also consider a restaurant downtown called The Jazz. The guy is supposedly a Katrina refugee up there who owns the restaurant.

It is on my dad's list for tomorrow. The guy at Billy Frogs (Old Market Location) told him about it.

Jamz is the name of the place, and it is a solid. Been going there every year since 2000. Looks kind of odd, cause it's in a strip mall, but the food is good, and the scenery is usually better.

Piccolo Pete's is an old time Omaha steakhouse (read: 1960's Mad Men vibe) but the food is pretty damn good. Surprisingly so actually. It also has the worlds largest disco ball I've ever seen, and usually most of the coaches go there to eat at some point, so you're going to see them from time to time.

Old Chicago's was a pretty good pizza joint downtown that is a good break from steak.

There's also another place in the old market that I can't think of, but they had the hottest waitresses we saw the entire time we were there.

Word to the wise, Sullivan's up there, ain't like Sullivans down here. No talent.

Omaha Prime Sucks. Anthony's is the best Steakhouse in Omaha it is located at Interstate 80 and F Street.
The Best pizza in town is Sgt Peffers.

While you are up that way try soem of the better Italian places. Surprisingly enough Des Moines and Omaha both have some really good Italian food. Somethign to do with the Bootlegger days and the mobsters lying low in either Omaha or Des Moines.
