I'm meeting my parents down in New Orleans tomorrow for lunch. Give me some ideas about where to eat. I'd like to keep it relatively casual, and someplace where we can get in and out in 45 minutes to an hour at the most. Also, we'd like to keep it in the area between the CBD and Carollton Ave, and between Claiborne and the river. I'd like something quality that is not readily available in BR, so that eliminates Mexican and sushi for the most part. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

+1 Rio Mar (or Cochon both in the Warehouse District).

MILA (Warehouse distric) has a lunch special as does Bayona (FQ). An excellent opportunity to eat high end at a fair price. EAT on Dumaine (FQ) is also worth checking out.

Uptown I would suggest Lilette and downtown/warehouse district either Rio Mar or MiLa. Cannot go wrong at any of those places.
