Damn, this movie is almost 25 years old. When I was a kid I thought Commando was the greatest movie of all time. It's been on AMC this week, and I've caught some of it. Wow...talk about a movie that doesn't hold up. You can tell this movie was made way before Hollywood started using military advisors/consultants. Most of the shite is down right laughable by today's standards. Not that Schwarzenegger doesn't look awesome holding a belt fed M-60, but c'mon.
Too bad the youth of today will never know Arnie the way we did.

Notice in the scenes that the belt of ammo gets longer instead of shorter with each scene.
You can also see the cables on Sully's legs as he holds him over the canyon.
The Porsche also is crushed in on one side until he flips it back over and it magically disappears.
Lots of poor editing in this movie.

A classic 80's action hero line. Did anyone else think there's no way in hell the guy that played Bennett would last twenty seconds with Ahnuld in real life. He sure didn't look like an ex elite whatever they were supposed to be. Maybe it was the silver mesh shirt he wore the whole time...

+1 million. My dad took me to see this in the theatres. I was 6 years old and loved every minute of it. When it came out on video I would rent it at least every couple of months. Even though it may not hold up today, it holds a special place in my heart.
