I saw the asswipe slam the ball as hard as he could like there was no tomorrow in yesterday's game against Arkansas. I can't imagine what he's gonna have in store for today.

Hopefully he'll slam his helmet into the dugout wall after going 0 for in the batter's box.

I hope he's doing it because his boyfriend said he'd get a BJ every time he does it. Otherwise, there's no excuse for such douchebaggery.

It pisses me off when non-LSU players show emotion.

Slamming the ball into the ground isn't showing emotion. It's, "hey look at me - I'm going to showboat and slam the ball into the ground so everyone will pay attention to me...no really, look at me".

Its very close to taunting the other team. I'm surprised he's allowed to get away with it.

Showboating, sad to say, is NOW part of sports culture....The days of sportsmanship and respect for apponents and their fans may be lost.

I wonder if he would still do it if his team were losing 9-0?

Pete Rose used to do the same thing. Nothing new in baseball...he is just showing some emotion.
