Did I see on the news last night that the owner of the Atcha Bakery was arrested on a tax charge? Didn't they arrest the owners of Arzi's and Roman's last year?
I know, I know, selective prosecution. Sure, that must be it.

I thought that Atcha got hit with this a year or two ago as well?

i would only be shocked if they WERE paying all of their taxes. A lot of restaurants in general seem to short their cash earnings sometimes, but the middle eastern joints take the cake.

Many of these type of establishments used to use Pennywise Accounting and Tax Services.
Literally, they had accountants working out of closets.

I've seen it where businesses will deduct the employee portion of taxes and keep it. Don't report it. Just keep it. And not think twice about it.
