Well, we here at UCI got it handed to us last night by San Diego. We'll still host, and will still probably be a national seed, but it looks like LSU is in the driver's seat for #1. This brings me to one very important question. If I were to drive down to Baton Rouge for the supers would you buy me a beer and a serving of jambalaya with white beans?

I hope we don't get it. The #1 national seed is a curse.

I'm only semi-kidding. I've got an old friend who's a professor at LSU, so I love to drive down on occasion. If there's baseball, food and drink added to the mix, there's very little reason for me to say no!

Of course, if I'm to believe the nonsense they post on rivals, you LSU fans are playing catch with Jim Beam bottles in the stands between innings. Watch a load of crap! Everybody knows that's a waste of booze!

I grew up on cajun cooking(english was my grandparents second language) and I just found out earlier this year that some people consider white beans to be a normal side for jambalaya. It doesn't make sense, but it isn't unheard of. Apparently the OP tailgated with some white beans with jambalaya people.

Im right there with you. i was born in houma, which is where all my family is from, and moved to ascension parish. My grandparents jambalaya isn't anything like it is over here either.

I met you last year, dude. We were the tailgaters on the corner you hung out with.

As we get closer, if it looks like you're headed here again, I'll give you our new location, you can hang w/ us again.

The only teams that go hard are the ones on the regional bubble. Winning the tourney gets the automatic bid.

The rest want to get the starting pitchers some work. I think their satisfied playing 3 games. They aren't going to overwork the pitching staff with regionals starting 5 days later.
