No, not just because the Yanks are 0-5 against the Red Sox.

Joe doesn't know how to properly use his rotation. He leaves Sabathia (and other starters) in games longer than he should be. Games in which I might add, CC (and others) are struggling.

Joe brings in a STRUGGLING Jonathan Alabadejo in a 4-3 game. A game in which Alabadejo goes on to allow 2 runs, thus blowing the game wide open given the Yankees anemic offense.

Joe gets Derek Jeter on first base, in a 4-3 game, with no outs. With Johnny Damon coming up to bat, you'd think the logical thing would be to bunt Jeter over to 2nd. But, nope. Of course he lets Damon swing away, and Johnny ends up fouling out to Jason Varitek. Hell, he doesn't even have Jeter ATTEMPT to steal 2nd base. As for the rest of the inning? Texeiria and Matsui fly out.

Feel free to add more shite about Girardi, there's definatly not a shortage in that department.

Ohh, Joe Girardi STARTS a completely worthless Angel Berroa (who is worthless in every aspect of the game, I might add) over a Ramiro Pena vs Boston last night. An important game at that. Don't get me wrong, Pena is no stud by any means, but he's sure as hell better than Angel "I have as many errors at 3rd base as I do hits on the season" Berroa.

He is a bitch.

In all seriousness though the team plays like shite. They are complacent as it gets. When was the last night you really saw this team rally to win one? When was the last time you watched them and said "damn...that was a well played game".

Hell no he doesn't. That was part of the problem in Florida, he was KILLING the young guys and management got worried (supposedly, but I wouldn't doubt it)

Expand the "he doesn't know how to use a rotation" to "he doesn't know how to use a pitching staff...period"

If I had a dollar every time we had a runner on with no outs and scored no runs since he's been here...I'd be making money in a very weird way (RIP Mitch) but I would also be a rich man.

Spoiled Yankees fan? Yeah... right.

I'd take Bobby Valentine, Don Mattingly, or even Tony Pena.

So what?

I don't expect Damon to hit a HR at every at bat, no one should.

Bobby Valentine was my choice but he wanted to stay overseas.

in all honesty, Mattingly is my favorite Yankee player but I would not want him as the coach.
He played with a few older players even though he retired before their run. He was still sorta around the team and I feel he would have same issues as Joe Giradi.
Plus I would want someone with experience instead of Mattingly thats why I am a Bobby V fan

Except he didn't and considering he's hit 20+ TWICE in his career (20 in 2004, 24 in 2006) I'd say the odds are stacked against him.

Yanks should just make trades to get prospects and just focusing on developing their young players to give them another solid core like they had in the late 90s

Well thats what got Yankees in this dilemma to begin with. Unlike 96 when they brought up the young players and added a few veteran pieces here and there.

Or he could have struck out, walked, gotten hit, tripled, smoked a blunt with Percy Harvin. He could've done a lot of things. Fact is, he didn't.
