Sorry about the delay.
I will admit I do have family that works in the kitchen there, and I have worked in the RBRG office, so I am very partial, but I do really enjoy the food.
No specific dress code. They welcome walk-ins, but whenever I go (which is relatively often) I get slightly dressed up. Nothing fancy though.
One of my personal favorites is the bbq shrimp. I stole the recipe and I love to make it at home... but I can never make it like they do.
I don't know why, but it seems like the salads are always incredible. The menu is very seasonal and its always local ingredients.
Let us know how it goes.

Decent. I haven't been in 5 years.
I wore jeans and a nice long-sleeve polo. She wore a dress.
Food was pretty good from what I remember and they had valet service.
Of course, this is probably out of most F&D Board NOLA experts' top 4,000 places to eat in the city, but I liked it.

for the same price point i would go somewhere else. It was decent, but not special at all.

My price point is zero. My dad is taking me and the wife out.

Pick the Pelican Club or KPauls over it....Bacco is okay...10 cent maritnis at lunch and lobster ravioli are the only things there to get excited over.

The Lobster Ravioli is awsome..get it
The rest of the menu ... not so much

I don't think the prices are that bad. Especially when they have special menus. They have great specials-
you can have 3 courses for less than $25... until you start drinking

My dad takes me and the wife out for our birthdays...he is trying to not double up.
So to recap....
I AM going to Baccos.
I did NOT ask for other sugggestions.
Buds Broiler IS the shite.

I went a few weeks ago and it was good - not great. Had a very good lemon box pie for desert.

Too many other great places in this city to waste I meal there. THe Lobster Ravioli will get you through one visit happily though.

One of the dangers of starting a thread about Bacco....go use the search feature...every time someone asks about this place, other restaurants are suggested.

I concur.

It's far down the list of my favorite places in town, but this is a bit much.
Waste a meal? Come on!

Every time I venture away from Lobster Ravioli, I feel as though I wasted a meal. JMO. FWIW, I think it is better than the Bourbon House, which is crap.

I concur.
my spider senses were tingling.
yum yum overcooked frozen patties, average bread, with a stale tasting overly sweet sauce.
and agree with the Lobster Ravioli comment.
dresscode is obviously crocs and windpants with a nice t-shirt.
