I wasn't as down on his chances as most on here were, but I will absolutely admit that I was wrong as hell about his NBA career. Congrats to Big Baby, and thanks again for the great memories!

I'll admit, while I loved him at LSU, I didn't think he got off the ground well enough to ever make an impact in the NBA. I'm glad I was wrong. GEAUX Big Baby. His future looks bright.

He got some discipline with his weight, he's always had the skill set. Good kid with a great game.

He has definitely increased his vertical jump...he can dunk with ease and is a decent shot blocker as well.

I've been familiar with him since he was 11.

I didn't think he'd make his high school team, and he did.
I didn't think he'd get a bball scholarship, and he did.
I didn't think he'd ever start at LSU, and he did.
I didn't think he'd ever be successful at LSU, and he did.
I didn't think he was good enough to play in the NBA, and he did.
I didn't think he'd ever be worthy of a starting role, and he is.

I've never seen a kid grow up and prove me wrong so many times. As a person who is hardly ever wrong (see my sig), I'm stunned by what GD has accomplished.

This is just silly to imagine. To be that big in highschool automatically puts you on the team in high school unless you are the biggest clutz ever.

Shaquille O'Neal would have disagreed with you in 1986.

what kind of person argues with a newborn?

FWIW I'm friends with him and am glad he proved my doubts wrong about him being productive in the NBA

I'm referencing the fact that Shaq was cut from his high school team in his underclass years.

He has far exceeded my expectations. I'm stoked he is doing as well as he is.

Just making a joke (born in 86'). I understood what you meant. Here's to Baby proving everybody wrong

Ahh...I thought you were referring to Glen Davis, who was born 1/1/86.
