and load it up with incentitives. He is not signed yet and still wants to play. I think it might boost the morale of the lockerroom.

I'd be all for it, but Payton will never do it. He wants to avoid the fiasco he created last year by not playing him.

NO. Deuce sucks, can't pass a physical and I would hate the day we cut him again and have to listen to all this moaning and groaning, he's the best eva yada yada yada.

Won't happen with the Saints, nor will it happen with any other team. I really, really hope I'm wrong.

way to go, SuadFour. You creating this thread is like laying chicken feed for the chickens. Chad985Girl can't resist any Deuce bashing.

Thanks....

like MDS said, Payton would never do it cause he doesn't use Deuce. I don't understand why. He was healthy enough to dress, but not play. He only got big loads against shitty teams

He wasn't played last year, why would he be put in this year?

The only reason why I would like to see it happen is so that he can get a SB ring with the Saints if/when we win it this year.

It can be like Bettis' final year in PITT

But that year, Bettis could actually run.

yeah, and I believe Deuce can too. The little time he received last year he used to show that he still can run well.

I'm not saying that they will or even should resign him; I'm just saying as a fan I'd love to see him get his ring with the Saints. Don't read too much into my posts here.

Did your crystal ball show Bettis blowing out both knees....and getting cut before that season...then resigned only to never see the field....

Look..it would make a great story..I would LOVE to see this happen.....can we all agree that the chances are very very slim to none??? If not, I'll concede defeat to you billy.

I was hoping for that last year, our kickers sucked for the most part. If Hartley hadn't worked out, I would say we do that. Morton would have been better than Gramatica and Melhalf

Has anyone in here questioned whether or not Deuce would want to go through all the bullshite of the NFL on 2 bad knees for the NFL minimum?

If he's smart with his money he should be set for life.
