If it hit the married housing place, it would have been at least a 600 ft hr. I call bs.

I remember seeing Joey Bell hit them that far back in the day.

It was Lyle Mouton, I had heard he hit one on top of the married apartments

Thought the one hit by Joey "Albert" Bell was ungodly far.

Stories of hitting those apartments is like the big fish that got away. Makes for a good story, but has nothing to do with the truth. Funny how we have no video of said HRs. We did have TV in the 90s, yes?
I've watched Hymel, Mouton, Belle, Larson, Cresse etc., hit many bombs. Don't think it's humanly possible to hit that building in the air. Maybe if it bounced on concrete and rolled, but not on the fly.

Jose Cruz Jr. (Rice) during the regionals

Brandon Larson at the 1997 CWS off of the unhittable 1st round pick Matt Anderson of Rice.....it went over the old LF scoreboard
Brad Hawpe hit one early in the 1999 season that I swear hit the athletic admin building after a couple hops

Jon Zeringue put one over the scoreboard at Zephyr in 2003 or 2004! If you went to the game last night or have ever been there you know how long of a bomb that is! That's the longest I've seen in person, Larson in Omaha is scheduled to land soon I think!

How could I forget about Larson...I dont think he ever hit one that BARELY went over, he seems to crush them all
