Are most fans staying in Downtown Seattle or the University District? Just wondering what was the main hotel for LSU fans.

I am at the Silver Cloud Inn-University near the campus. My rationale is that the public transportation is good going downtown and that I would rather be close to the stadium on gameday.

Seems like there have been quite a few threads on this where locals also commmented on different hotels.

90% of my friends are staying Downtown (myself included, but we are making a 5 day trip.

IMO, staying near UW makes sense if you are only in for the game. The campus area is limited for tourist type of activities and it is a pretty good haul from downtown with no quick, easy public transportation.

Alumni Association will be staying the Grand Hyatt and the Westin. Anyone looking for hotel rooms - we still have a block at the Westin for anyone interested.

If interested - email me at jasonr@lsualumni.org

You'd be right on with that assumption. Silver is about a mile from the stadium and public trans is great there. so going downtown is cake if you want to.

Not sure if this is accurate! Public Transportation is easy from their to downtown.
