Will this really affect his stock at all? If most SEC message board posters knew Harvin liked to smoke weed in college, I am sure NFL GMs knew as well. It's not like Harvin has a spotless record anyways.

I think his lack of experience in a pro-style offense is a much bigger drawback than his use of weed.

agreed...but the stupidity to fail these tests around combine/draft time might make him drop a little, just for lack of judgment......not so much the fact he smokes, but when he smoked.

i would clarify that and say his lack of being a full time WR, combined with the fact he never returned kicks, is injury prone, and undersized.

The 2 you mentioned were full time WR's much more so than harvin, and Maclin has shown he is a great kick returner. They are also bigger. thus, they (and maybe even another WR)will both be chosen before Harvin, like i have said all along.

Lester will open it up again, argue the same stupid shite, Harvin will go behind them like we said, and somehow he will still be right.

Neither played in a "pro style" offense, which he just held against Harvin. That was my only point.

you said his size, injury history, and lack of a true position would not his stock at all and implied he would go off the board first.

eta: and you were wrong on all counts.

Crabtree and Maclin have a lot more experience at wideout than Harvin. They also don't have his problems off the field (and I am not talking about something as petty as smoking a few joints).

Crabtree is. Maclin is not.

and you're definition of undersized is just comedic.

Both Crab and Maclin will go 10 picks before Harvin! At least.

and specifically said his injuries, size, and lack of WR experience would not hurt him. You went back and forth with me about his injuries and size all day and you SWORE they would be non-factors with his stock.
