I've gotten hooked on 'the Office' over the last year or so. Read this is by the same producers or such. Missed it last week. I know shows have some rough spots when they get started. Does this have promise ?

It's shot just like The Office. Most on here panned it, but I thought it had the chance to get better. First episode wasn't great, but I'll probably give it another shot or two.

thanks.
I was concerned it'd might get jerked since they have such a quick trigger finger these days. Can't believe how many shows have been canned after one episode the last few years.

it took me a couple of years to like the Office. When it first game out,I thought it was the dumbest show I'd ever seen.

It wasn't as terrible as most on here said, but it also wasn't any good.
Amy Poehler plays the same type of clueless idiot as Michael Scott. Problem is I can't stand Amy Poehler.
I do like Rashida Jones so I will give this one a little more time, but not a lot.
It may take time for the show to jell. I mean the show was originally supposed to be a spinoff of The Office and it someone morphed into Parks & Recreation.

Last weeks episode seemed to be more of a setup than an actual episode. Introduce all the characters, set up the plot. I'll give it a few more episodes, but I think Poehler is going to run her character into the ground.

I really enjoy that Indian dude. I figure if P&R bombs, he'll at least go back to "Interns".

I was shocked at how truly bad this was. I though pohler would be better but the show was painful to watch.

That's pretty strange, IMO.
One is funny and the other is boring as hell.

One is annoying and one is hot.

I think it has promise, you can check it out on hulu.com and check it out for yourself

I thought it was pretty bad. If they wouldn't have wedged it in between two office episodes nobody would have watched it. The expectations were too high for me because they made it sound like it was going to be close to the level of the office but no one can compete with Steve Carell

It was an introduction episode since it was the pilot. I will give it a few more weeks before giving up.
It probably stays on the schedule no matter what since Kath & Kim sucks and Earl is on the way out.

One of the only names in Hollywod that doesn't fit the person. When I first saw this in credit I was expecting some hood rat.
