Preseason Prediction of BCS Title Game

As of right now in the preseason, who would you all pick to be in the national title game? Please, none of this "it's stupid and a waste of time to say this early" stuff. My pick: SEC Champs (probably LSU/UF) vs. USC OR Texas.

I see Oklahoma being deadly next season after losing anotehr title game. Stoops will probably have their defense confident now that so many are coming back next season.

LSU has to wait for the national champ game to be in New Orleans, and I think its in Pasadena this year... and if its not us I don't care

It amazes me how many people think Texas will beat OU with all the talent coming back for Oklahoma. Do any of you think OU could beat Florida in a rematch on a more neutral field like in Pasadena?

i still don't think so..but that's just me..i think UF will lose a game or so this year but that's it(most likely AT LSU)

To the USC fan above...
Do you honestly believe USC will have a perfect season with a freshman QB? I know USC is all around loaded with talent and will easily win their conference, but I don't see Barkeley having the experience and leadership as a freshman to make it.

The defense has a LOT to replace but what the new people lack in experience, they'll make up for in speed. The defense will actually be faster than last season's.
SC hired a special teams coach to square perhaps the achilles heel of the program away, and of course everybody's sky high during spring ball, but I have a very good feeling about this season.
I should caveat that by saying like most fans who love their team, I have this feeling every season.

Doesn't USC have Mitch Mustain for a QB. I think he will be pretty good; however, I thought USC would have a lot to replace on their defense. I don't see USC going undefeated and I think they will miss out again with the weak Pac 10.
The only team I would probably even consider putting money on is Florida. I do think LSU is in the NC discussion.
