I went their today with family and nothing has changed from the last time i went. I think the last time I ate their was in 2003. I won't wait another 6 years to go again!

I just moved a few blocks away from Camellia Grill, and I've been there a lot already. Everything is awesome on the menu, but I especially like the burger and their red beans and rice!

I keep hearing that they are opening a store in Perkins Rowe here in BR...dad gum if I have seen any indication of it though. Where in PR is it supposed to be?

A buddy of mine used to live around the corner from there before Katrina, used to go there every time I went and visited...man I miss that place

Unfortunately, this is true. I can't remember what happened, but they have his picture on the wall, etc.
I don't think it's been the same since it's reopened. The staff isn't nearly as cool.
First time I went back - maybe a month after it reopened, the waiter actually asked me to leave because there was a long line!
There I was, just talking for 5 minutes after I'd finished dessert...unbelievable. If I wouldn't have been on a date, I would have left the guy a couple of pennies.
They also now have a very annoying habit of serving chocolate freezes in pre-made go cups that sit in the freezer.
Last time I was there, they made it fresh, but the waiter did it again...so I had to say, "Could you please just serve it in the regular glass?"
