why the hate between the hornets and rockets

The Rockets fans think that Houston is better than the Hornets. And that is not true.

That's a damn good question. I have no problem with the Hornets, quite the contrary as a New Orleans native with friends that a big fans, I root for the them if they are not playing the Rockets and it doesn't hurt the Rockets. I do wish they had stayed in the east.
But some on this board have made that very hard with the ridiculous Rockets hate. Any Hornets hate is limited to this board pretty much. Rockets fans in Houston don't hate the Hornets, they hate Utah and to a lesser extent the Spurs and Mavs.

And one HUGELY DELUSIONAL Rockets homer. I don't have any problem with the Rockets. Yao is solid and T-Mac did good on my fantasy team last year, but the Rockets fans on this site can be annoying. Plus, some of these guys are Astros fans as well, obviously, which is like double the suckage. No offense to anyone, I just can't stand either of those teams.
Which doesn't make sense, since I said I don't have a problem with the Rockets, but I can't stand the Astros, they are all about the suck.

have to agree with this. Never hated the Hornets before and still don't but I never root for them cause they are in the Rockets division

I really can't understand why anyone outside of Houston would hate the Astro's, they are pretty harmless
