I don't think Broadway will be. Reed most likely will be.

After thought: Broadway will definitely be a 5* if he signs with Bama.

The reason i counted broaday as a 5* because he might sign with bama. If he signs with lsu rivals will put him at a 3*. Rivals hates lsu!!!

This year for Louisiana, talent-wise, mirrors the 2008 class awfully close.

1 as of right now (Reed) but you never know which players will have monster senior campaigns and good camp showings which would equal a move up. Ford and Faulk both made huge jumps in the national rankings depending on who you followed (scout or rivals)and wasnt Janzen a mid to late season 5 star achiever? (i apologize in advance for tainting this post with the very mention of that name... )

at this time last year, janzen was thought of as a solid 4* guy by most of this board

Eric Reid and Trovon Reed will both be 5 stars. Trovon will start out as one and Eric will be moved to one by mid-season. Besides those two there will probably be around 8 or 9 four stars and 7 to 15 three stars. LSU should get every four star they offer with the exception of McKnight and Broadway they will both sign out of state.

Seriously, the main recruiting pub, Rivals, is so obvious that it's easy to catch what they are doing. There won't be too many 5 stars in LA if certain teams can't get them. There are however, many 5 stars popping up in a state between Mississippi and GA. That's so to keep a certain coach close so that other teams don't leave him far behind. Then that pub makes happy it's friends and subscribers.

i may be a huge lsu fan, but i will defend the talent in my home state of alabama. alabama has awesome high school footbal talent year in and year out. Rivals may or may not favor the university of alabama, but they are legit when giving high school alabama guys their 5*'s. Again, im a huge lsu fan, but dont say that the high school guys in alabama dont deserve a 5* rating because you are very wrong in saying that.

Stars dont matter. Production on the field matters. Period.

Now that you have echoed what a lot of other retards have said, explain the reason that scout and ESPN both seem to agree on how good the BAMA players are.

There is a definite tendancy for rivals to bump BAMA recruits, but it's not nearly as bad as you make it sound.
