At least it says they'll let it play out for the full season. What the hell is wrong with ABC though? They keep cancelling some pretty decent shows.

yeah that's what pisses me off. This is the third show that they have canceled that maybe with a little time would be able to get decent ratings.

Nothing beats cancelling Las Vegas on a to be continued. That show was like really one episode away from wrapping up the storylines as it was anyway.

Pushing Daisies
and Drug, Sex, Money or whatever it was called all seemed to have pretty substantial cult followings too. They need a cable partner to dump some of these good but underperforming shows on.

yep, I always thought Jericho could have done well on SciFi, Life on Mars would be a good candidate for that channel also. Of course budgets would probably plummet and I don't know how that would affect the quality of the show.

Journeyman was another good show ABC dropped (and the only one that had "new" episodes airing during the writer's strike because they had already filmed the whole season - talk about biting the hand...)
I was actually just getting into Life on Mars (thanks to it being on after LOST). That really bites.
Some other poorly-thought-out cancellations:
Gilligan's Island
Star Trek
The Jeffersons
Firefly
Family Guy (but it came back due to popular demand)
Futurama (rumor is that it's coming back too)
the 2nd Bionic Woman series (had a TON of potential but the writers seemed completely clueless after the 3rd or 4th episode)
Any others anyone else can think of? Throw them out here folks ;)

Journeyman was a good show but that was on NBC not ABC, but that just goes to show all networks don't give shows enough time to come into their own.

I quit watching life on mars when they moved the show and then went on that three week break. I really enjoyed the premise, got hooked on it and then lost interest

Love that show! Of course, ABC making idiot decisions! I just recently gave up HBO, although I love Big Love, because they never brought back Deadwood. That was my favorite show. I am sticking with Tru TV, ID TV, SciFi (Ghost Hunters) and can't give up Dirty Jobs. I tend to like Reality TV, even though it is not really reality, it's ACTUALITY!

i hope we find out whats going on in the remaining 5 episodes!! Is Sam gonna hook up with Annie??? damn this sucks! we better find out what the aries project is! this really pisses me off!!!

I liked both of these shows, Traveler had the potential to be a good two season show, but I think if they had kept it going they would have pulled a prison break and stretched that shite out to where it pissed people off

Arrested Development is the best show to ever be cancelled. To bad FOX couldn't put it on at a watchable hour.
