LB recruit for 2010..McCarthy is recruiting him..Davis' commmitment was significant because mike davis is teammates with Nelson, who is considered to be one of the top LB recruits in the state..Hope we can get him

Unfortunately, it's wishful thinking. Nelson is an OU lean.
Dominique Patterson, another teammate, is a much better shot if we offer.
It's a deep year for linebackers in the state of Texas.

is shaun lewis the one who UT is passing on because they don't think he will be able to put on enough weight? could be thinking of someone else.

Yep. That's him.
Lewis and Caleb Lavey are the two uncommitted linebackers from Texas I'd go after, but we don't have a shot a Lavey either.

Pretty much. I don't like using the word "lock," but I guess that I could have used "heavy heavy lean." Nelson was/is recruiting Davis to OU.
