Was the assassination attempt staged to win over sympathy support from centrists?

The swing voters that got Trump in office in 2024 have turned on him because of the Epstein cover up and the Iran War. I can totally see how Trump would stage this in order to rally the country behind him as a “patriot” and “warrior” who “fights for you” against the “violent left” and “took a bullet for his country.”
I think it’s a good strategy. We’ve already seen that Democrats will go the lowest of lows to win elections, so we should go lower.

If you or anyone turned on him over the Epstein files then you deserve everything the Left will inevitably implement because it’s never going to be released enough to satisfy you goofballs but I am sure President Newsome will really seek justice

I've seen a lot of the "staged" talk online. If Trump was going to stage something, it would have came from a disguised person, fake name, and social media either non-existent so you can't track who he and his family are, or a fake social media. That means he would of had to hire and actor , give him a gun and said go act like this.. do this.. my guys will make a fake arrest, and we'll sneak you out and back to where you came from tomorrow. None of this seems to be what's going on does it?

I think you guys underestimate just how much of an absolute moron the average swing voter in America is. And yet they control the entire direction of our country. Attention spans of goldfish who only vote based on the numbers at the gas pump. Fair or not, the perception of Trump among those people is that he’s failed to deliver on his promise of low gas prices because of the Iran War. So you stage an assassination attempt to make those people think “Aw man, I feel bad for him. No wonder it’s hard to lower gas prices when people are trying to shoot him at every corner. Nobody ever tried to kill Biden…I guess the left is the party of violence after all.”
