Why are you pinch hitting a guy with a .143 avg?

I just don't get it. Who cares if it's righty vs lefty. It's still .143...sheesh

Jay has probably never been in this situation before. He knows the expectations here and proven his worth. Just think he’s doing too much, overthinking things. I learned to never doubt him esp last year. I feel bad because the dude didn’t sleep before. Having first hand account of the Dickinson recruitment prior to last year. Jay probably won’t sleep until next years squad is sorted unfortunately.

This years bridge to football season may be longer than what we all want, and season hasn been much fun. But at least we have the right guy at the helm.

Hell.he was in the same situation 2 years ago, and 4. Just no consistency year to year. Think he was pretty hot and cold at Arizona as well.

2 years ago, his team was one out away from hosting a Super Regional. Very different situation.

Harden is a JUCO transfer - he’s a junior.

Totally agree...but it's got to be York there. He's got a better avg, good power and draws walks. Plus he has a lot more experience. Not sure what Jay was thinking

Unless something dramatic happens he’s not gunna finish with 13 wins and sneak into the tournament. That team took UNC to the wire for a potential super at home if I remember right. He righted the ship and brought home #8 the next season.

Hate to say it but I’d trade a down year like this for a natty every other year lol.

Well we gonna win it all next year. I'm good with that.

That team went to the Sec championship game in lost
They earned a way into the tournament.
Unfortunately this team is not clutch in anyway and the use of the bullpen has been atrocious.
The only way thi team gets in the field of 64 is if they win the sec tournament and they would need to win 5 games in hoover to do that. I hope im wrong , but I do not see that happening

He missed the postseason two straight years at Arizona, and it might have been three if not for COVID.

That’s exactly what it is it’s a match up thing and some don’t understand it and never will because they have never been in that situation ever!

Not true. Facts are facts. Prove me wrong. Did Arizona make the postseason in 201.8 and 2019?

The use of the bullpen has not been the problem you dumbass it’s been your rock if anything your starters have to go atleast 6 innings and stretch sometimes and that has not happened outside of one GameStop blaming the bullpen!

Pretty certain that baseball was non existent in the year 201. I believe that was the peak era of the rule of the Roman Empire and I don’t think they allowed those kind of shenanigans.
