Football , Basketball , Baseball has been a rough year in the SEC

Brian Kelly 3-5 in SEC
Matt McMahon 3-15 in SEC
Jay Johnson 6-13 in SEC
12-33 so far and its not over yet. 2 are now gone.
What will be the outcome in 2026/27

Brian Kelly has the best winning percentage in major men’s sports this season (with losses to Vandy and allowed A&M to take over Tiger Stadium).
Ironically, my biggest concern of the Big 3 is Jay Johnson as baseball is on a terrible trajectory.

56 total games next season I think. I think Jay will possibly have the weakest sec record again. That will make 2 years in a row.
I think lane can be 5-4 or 6-3 next season in sec unless this roster is actually legit. Wade can at least be .500 but Ole Jay is gonna most likely get 11/12 wins maybe in sec next season. There is a problem in baseball atm.

Bottom 3 in SEC for 2 years running will get you fired at LSU. While I think we’ll give him the resources to show some improvement, the Rant won’t be as forgiving next year if we don’t make the 64 again.

NIL has leveled the playing field. Where kids in the past would not go north to play, now the B1G can pay them to come.
Additionally, the SEC teams in football used to crush you with overwhelming depth. Those days are gone. You cannot build depth with an open portal.

With Lane hopefully it will be a turn around. Seems like alot of different already especially most all of the coaches and players.
