Dude is here an awful lot for being "Committed" elsewhere

When Derek Ponamsky was on Jordy Cullota's show recently, he mentioned how the game has changed in such a short time since he's been away from football. He specifically mentioned hearing how prospects are now asking schools for up to $20K just to visit, even for unofficial visits.

I'm not saying this has been the case here with Royal, but it has crossed my mind with all the official & unofficial visitors of elite prospects & commitments LSU has had on campus, some with multiple visits. Unofficial visits seemingly meant more bc the prospect must've really been interested in a school if they came on their own dime. Now, in the back of my mind, I wonder if any visit is anything more than than a free money grab/business deal.

"Pay for visit" has been going on well before the NIL era.

I dont think this is the case for Royal. He's right down the street. Its convenience for both sides.

Now that unexpected Kaden Henderson visit sounds like a money grab to me.
